Definition

Stereo-A sound system, typically including a CD, tape, or record player, that has two or more speakers and produces stereo sound.

Channel- Its different sounds or tracks for recording sound such as stereo; left and right channel. Channels of the rear, channel of the front etc.
Track- Is when something is still being edited in software.

Frequency-  the number of periods or regularly occurring events of any given kind in unit of time
Hertz- the SI unit of frequency, equal to one cycle per second

Decibel- A unit used to measure the intensity of a sound or the power level of an electrical signal by comparing it with a given level
Wav- shore for Waveform Audio File Format.

mp3- A means of compressing a sound into a very small file, used as a way of downloading audio files from the internet.

aiff- Audio Interchange File Format (AIFF) is an audio file format standard used for storing sound data for personal computers.
